Gus and Nancy Silivos invite you to dine with them at Skopelos and discover what Pensacolian’s have known for over 45 years. Since opening its doors in 1959, Skopelos has become a Pensacola tradition in fine dining and exceptional service. The name Skopelos is derived from the Greek island of Skopelos in the Aegean Sea, it is from here that the Silivos family originates. The restaurant originally located on West Cervantes Street, moved to its current location overlooking Pensacola Bay in 1987. The location was once the Scenic Terrace, a romantic spot for dancing in the 1940’s and then Machinegun Kelly’s, a popular nightclub in the 1970’s. Gus transformed the old Pensacola landmark into a new landmark, Skopelos on the Bay. Skopelos has been the recipients of many prestigious awards. We have had the honor of serving many well-known personalities, including former President and First Lady, George and Barbara Bush. However, our most coveted honor is the continued satisfaction of all of our patrons.
